MY STORY
For many years, I described them as whispers, nudges, or intuition.
I often sensed God was drawing my attention to something, but I didn’t understand what it meant or where it was leading.
Then life fell apart.
Within a few months, I lost my leadership role while on maternity leave, suffered a serious back injury, and my marriage ended.
It was during that season that everything changed.
I stopped asking God to bless my plans and instead prayed a simple prayer:
“Lord… what would You have me do?”
That prayer changed everything.
I didn’t receive a detailed blueprint for my future.
Instead, God began faithfully revealing one step at a time.
I’ve come to realize that God doesn’t usually show me the whole picture.
More often, He simply reveals the next step.
My part is to trust Him enough to take it, even when I don’t yet understand where it is leading.
Then, in His perfect timing, He places the next opportunity before me.
Looking back, it all makes perfect sense.
Looking ahead, it almost never does.
Over time, I realized those whispers weren’t random at all.
They were God’s gentle way of getting my attention.
Today, I help women recognize those same promptings, so they can respond with confidence and follow His leading, one step at a time.
